the Lord, King of heaven!

your voices unto Him!

the trumpets before Him!

the cymbals alight,
Crashing
thunder around Him
Who
brings day out of night!

your praises to Jesus,
God
and Lord of the cross,

came, faithful, from heaven
Wretches
to free from cost!
Pouring
out His precious blood
Over
our rebellion,
He
has cast our sin from us!
Our
redemption is won!
One
with Jesus in heaven,
We
shall share in His joy;
As
in His persecution,
We
shall share in His joy!
Ring,
ye, out all your praises
To
the Lord of your life
Who
is faithfully turning
Wretches,
we, into Light!
Sound
the thundering tymp’ni!
Raise
the brass o’er the sky
To
His palace in heaven,
Shedding
tears from your eye!
Feel
the joy of the Savior!
Let
it run through your veins,
Coursing
you unto heaven
By
Christ, the only Way!
